What Contiducks stores
When you open a list file, Contiducks reads it on the device and saves the contents there. That data is used to show your lists, to let iOS search find people in them, and to name incoming calls from numbers on them. That data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is removed when you delete the list or the app.
What Contiducks sends
Contiducks does not send anything on its own. The app makes no network connections in the background. It does not collect usage statistics, crash reports, advertising identifiers or device identifiers.
When you hand something to another app
Some actions deliberately pass information out of Contiducks, because that is what you asked for:
- Calling, messaging, or emailing someone passes the relevant contact information to the app you chose
- Tapping WhatsApp on a phone number opens WhatsApp with that number.
- Tapping an address opens it in Waze, or in Google Maps if Waze is not installed.
- Sending feedback opens your mail app with a message to contiducks@gmail.com. Anything you write there, including your email address, reaches us - that is the only way we receive anything from you at all.
- Opening the help link opens this website in your browser.
Once information reaches one of those apps or sites, their own privacy policy applies to it, not this one.
A feedback email is something you choose to send, and you control what's in it. Please don't include personal information - yours or anyone else's, such as names, numbers, or addresses from your lists - beyond what we need to understand your question or report. We use that email to reply to you and to improve Contiducks, and aren't responsible for anything beyond that which you choose to include.
Children
Contiducks is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them. Lists used at a school are loaded by the adult using the app, and stay on that adult's device.
No warranty
Contiducks is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the app or this website.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date below.
